I write in response to your email to Claire Foale of 20 May 2025 notifying us of the pre-consultation period on the North Yorkshire and York Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).

We would like to confirm that we have no objection to the LNRS and associated mapping progressing to public consultation. We note that we have provided feedback on the pre-consultation draft Strategy and reserve the right to provide further comment during the public consultation if we consider that these issues have not been adequately addressed.
